The Why
The DR-1 is an advanced aerial quadcopter which started out as an April Fools prank but ended up being an actual limited edition product.
I was tasked to work up some creative concepts to promote the product across their eCommerce pages and social media channels.
The What
I initially looked at two different shop hero graphics, one on a black background with an elevated slant on the product mimicking flight and another route that I decided to go with as I felt it was more creative and plus OnePlus is known for its creative/ edgy marketing.
The secondary route rotated the birds eye view of the DR-1 making it look like a ‘+’ sign and positioned it so it that it connected back to the OnePlus logo.
